Celebration for the New Millennium In order to celebrate for the New Millennium comes, the three franchised bus companies and an advertising company have painted some of their fleets with special all-over advertisement. The one from the Kowloon Motor Bus was painted on a Dennis Trident 12metres with Duple Metsec bodywork, ATR109. It is appeared since November 1999. Afterward, New World First Bus shows its Millennium Bus, Dennis Trident 12metres with Walter Alexander ALX500 bodywork, #1008, on the early December 1999 in the Central Star Ferry Bus Terminal. The bus is in a silver and orange livery. On the other hand, Citybus specially painted two buses on its fleets with Millennium advertisement. They are #503 and #2301. The main difference between the two buses is that #503 is stick with full advertisement including on the windows of the bus, and thus it is only for showing purpose. Another Millennium bus #2301 was then appeared for servicing purpose and the advertisement on the windows is being removed. Not only the bus companies, but also an advertising company introduced an advertisement on a New World First Bus fleets, #1009, too.
