Celebration for the Lunar New Year 2002 To celebrate for the comes of the Lunar New Year 2002, Kowloon Motor Bus, New World First Bus, and also Citybus have also painted a "Year of the Horse" advertisement. Kowloon Motor Bus, is the last bus company, among the three franchised bus operator, introducing the "Year of the Horse - 2002" livery onto its fleets. Unlike the previous years, the bus of Chinese Horoscope this year is painted with golden color, instead the red one. However, the "Year of the Horse - 2002" advertisement is still painted on the same Volvo Olympian 11-metre, AV381. Citybus, introduced the "Year of the Horse - 2002" advertisement onto a Dennis Trident 12-metre, #2301, before the Chinese Lunar New Year. The style on the advertisement is based on the red background and amounted to ten thousands of Chinese word of Horse. Thus the advertisement may seems to be simple but special. New World First Bus, the first "Year of the Horse - 2002" advertisement introduced this year. Being introduced on a Dennis Trident 12-metre, #1131, the livery of the bus is composed of various "fortune-filling" cartoon figure on the orange livery. On the other hand, a key message also coupled with the advertisement as "To embrace a fruitful new Year of the Horse with good fortune".
