Buses of Chinese Horoscopes Since the Year of the Tiger - 1998, Kowloon Motor Bus started to introduce the Buses of Chinese Horoscopes which were specially decorated in order to meet the comes of the Lunar New Year. Year of the Tiger - 1998 In the Year 1998, KMB had decorated a Dennis Dragon 12metres, 3AD52, with the Year of the Tiger - 1998 livery. After the livery had been taken off in the March of 1998, another Dennis Dragon 11-metre, AD94, had been painted with a similar livery in the September of 2000. It seems that KMB will keep the bus with each Chinese Horoscopes every year in its fleets. Year of the Rabbit - 1999 For the Year of the Rabbit - 1999, totally four buses were decorated with the special livery. They are: Leyland Olympian 11-metre (AL121), Volvo Olympian 11-metre (AV101, AV381), Volvo Olympian 12-metre (3AV329). Finally, only the livery of the Volvo Olympian 12-metre, 3AV329, was kept by KMB. Year of the Dragon - 2000 Two Volvo Olympian 11-metre (AV381 & AV513) had been painted with the Year of the Dragon - 2000 advertisement from December 1999. Unlike the Buses of the Chinese Horoscopes before, the livery was only consists of the red in color instead of both the red and yellow in color. Year of the Snake - 2001 Around the mid of December 2000, one of the Volvo Olympian 11-metre (AV381) with the Year of the Dragon livery was repainted by the Year of the Snake livery. That was the only bus painted with such special livery. Year of the Horse - 2002 In the early February 2002, the representative of KMB Chinese Horoscopes fleet, the Volvo Olympian 11-metre (AV381) has painted with the Year of the Horse livery. Unlike the previous one, this livery is mainly composed with Golden color instead of the red one. This made the livery be more attractive and special.
