KMB Dennis Jubilant 9.7metres ( N )

Around 1977 and 1978, Dennis introduced a new type of double-decker bus chassis, the Dennis Jubilant, with front-engine design to the Kowloon Motor Bus. The design of the chassis was basically according to the Guy Victory J. The first 4 BACo bodied prototypes being served on the Eastern-Kowloon district routes for trial run.

Later in between 1979 and 1982, KMB acquired another 360 Jubilant from Dennis. In which 210 Jubilant bodied with Walter Alexander bodywork ( N5 - N213, N364 ) and the another 150 Jubilant bodied with Duple Metsec bodywork ( N214 - N363 ). In June 1980, a Jubilant fitted with independently engined air-conditioning system was being introduced to KMB. The bus decorated with 2+2 seating layout and the total passenger capacity is 75. However, the performance of the coach was not really good and so the bus had been converted back as non-air-conditioned Jubilant in May 1983.
