KMB Volvo Olympian 12metres air-con ( 3AV ) After the success of introducing the first VOLVO Olympian 11.3metres (AV1) in 1993, the Kowloon Motor Bus then acquired the first batch of 50 Olympian 12metres in July 1994 and fleeted as 3AV1 to 3AV50. The technical arrangement of these 12metres version is just similar to the one currently used in 11.3metres version. Since the September 1995, KMB introduced further 298 VOLVO Olympian 12metres in several batches. Totally 348 Olympian 12metres are being acquired. Those Olympian are all fitted with Walter Alexander R-type bodywork.
