KMB Volvo Super Olympian B10TL / Volgren bodywork ( 3ASV )

Since 1999, the Kowloon Motor Bus introduced more than 400 Walter-Alexander ALX500 bodied Volvo Super Olympian B10TL 12-metre to Hong Kong in 3 years. However, it does not means that Walter-Alexander ALX500 is the only choice of bodywork to be fitted on the Super Olympian B10TL chassis.

On 14th April 2002, the first Volgren bodied Volvo Super Olympian 12-metre delivered to Hong Kong in the afternoon at the Hongkong International Terminal. The bus acted as the prototype from Volgren to Kowloon Motor Bus. The dimensions of the bus were 12metres in length, 2.5metres in width and 4.366metres in height. Just like those Walter-Alexander ALX500 bodied Volvo Super Olympian, the passenger capacity are still 59 seatings on the upper deck, 33 seatings on the lower deck together with 40 standees. The wheelchair location is located between the first axis and the exit doorway. Other than the bodywork, all others technical specifications are just the same as the other Super Olympian. Afterward, KMB introduced further 20 Volgren bodied Volvo Super Olympian 12-metre in 2002.
