LWB Dennis Lance 11.7metres
In June 1996, Kowloon Motor Bus acquired 12 Dennis Lance single-door for the services of the Airbus Route of the Hong Kong ( Kai Tak ) International Airport. After the close of the Hong Kong ( Kai Tak ) International Airport, these Lance were being kept in the KMB's depot for the conversion work.
Long Win Bus, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Kowloon Motor Bus, was being assigned to provide the bus services between the new airport and the New Territories, together with a number of shuttle bus routes. As the passenger capacity of the Dennis Trident is rather large to serve on the low-demanded shuttle bus route, KMB was then transferred ten of the Lance to LWB in 1999.
Being the Airbus before, the saloon of the Lance is fitted with high-backed seats and luggage racks. So the conversion work is just painted the LWB standard livery decoration and replaced the displayer plate of the front route displayer. The Dennis Lance mostly served on Route S1, S62, S63 , and S64.
