Dennis Trident 12metres To meet the operation of bus services of the Chek Lap Kok New Airport in July 1998, Long Win Bus Co. Ltd. (LWB), a subsidiary of Kowloon Motor Bus, acquired totally 250 buses from Dennis Specialists Vehicle. All of them are the Walter Alexander ALX500 bodied Dennis Trident 12metres. In these 250 new buses, only 25 of them are in coaches deluxe specification while the others are just in bus specification. However, to compensate the retirement of Dennis Trident (HT7970) from fire loss near the Tai Lam Tunnel, a new Trident chassis had delivered to Hong Kong and being assembled with the Duple Metsec DM5000 bodywork in October 2000.
