1st New Bus Arrivals To meet the operation of 88 franchised bus routes in Hong Kong since September 1 of 1998, NWFB had made an order on 500 new bus from Dennis Specialist Vehicles and Volvo. With the help on Wallenius Shipping, the first new bus was started to deliver on the mid of June and was arrived to Hongkong International Terminals ( Depot 6 ) on July 7, 1998. The model of the new bus was Dennis Trident, and fitted with the Alexander ALX500 bodywork which 12 metres in length. NWFB was then fleeted as #1001 and licenses as HU8370. Afterward, the new bus was then acted as a Mobile Customer Service Centre serving from July 28, 1998.
