NWFB Single-deck Leyland Victory Mk.II ( LV24 )

After the acquisition of the new buses, acquired by the New World First Bus, have been started on delivery, those second-hand non-air-conditioned fleets purchased from China Motor Bus also prepared to retire in the mean time.

In September 1998, totally 163 Leyland Victory Mk.II were being adopted from China Motor Bus. After the retirement of these fleets, NWFB tried to convert the buses into single-deck buses and sell to the overseas countries. In the 4th quarter of 2000, NWFB converted a Victory Mk.II into single-deck successfully. It acted as a demonstrator to see whether the overseas bus-operators are interested on it or not. But finally the project seems to be failure and most of the Victory Mk.II were scrapped.
