HACTL Shuttle Bus fleets

In the mid of the year 1997, the Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) successfully established its own fleets on providing shuttle buses for staffs. Before that, its fleets were all managed by Citybus and the drivers were also provided by that company too.

In the early of the year 1996, HACTL acquired totally 4 double-decker buses from Dennis Specialist Vehicles. They are the Dennis Dragon 12-metre. The buses were fitted with Duple Metsec air-con bodywork. The specification of those Dragon are similar to the one acquired from Citybus in 1995. But there are no route displayer installed.

Later in 1997, in order to enhance the shuttle services for its staffs, HACTL acquired another 2 double-decker buses from Volvo. They are the Volvo Olympian 12-metre. The buses were fitted with Plaxton air-con bodywork in Wigan, Britain. The new buses delivered to Hong Kong on 6th December 1997.

In the end of August 1999, HACTL announced that its shuttle bus services are to be provided by Kwung Chung Motors. And those Dennis Dragon and Volvo Olympian are to be sold to the New World First Bus very soon. And the buses are then fleeted as DA93-96 and VA65-66 respectively in NWFB.
